Terms of Use

Accounts

• A Personal account is for one person aged 16 or over.
• Children under 16 may use Imizi only through a Family account opened by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and for how their children use it.
• Keep your password and parent PIN private. Everyone on a Family account signs in with the same email and password, so the parent profile is protected by an extra check.
• Give accurate information and tell us if you think your account has been misused.

Using Imizi

• Imizi is for personal, non-commercial learning.
• Be respectful in messages with teachers and others. Do not share content that is unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate for children.
• Do not copy or redistribute Imizi lessons, videos or materials, or try to break or overload the service.
• The learning assistant uses AI and can make mistakes. Check important information with your teacher.

Payments, subscriptions and private lessons

• Prices are shown before you pay. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.
• A subscription renews automatically each period until you turn renewal off on the Billing page. If you turn it off, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Private lessons are booked for a set date and time. If a teacher cancels, you are told the reason and offered a replacement lesson or a refund.
• For refund questions, contact us. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer law.

Teachers

Teachers are approved by Imizi before they appear publicly. Teachers must keep their availability up to date, keep students' information confidential, and use it only to teach.

Content and certificates

Imizi and its teachers own the lessons, videos and materials on the platform. Certificates confirm completion of an Imizi learning path; they are not an official qualification.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Liability

We work to keep Imizi available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; important changes will be announced on the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, without removing protections you have under the law of the country where you live. Questions: imizi@rwandalink.com.
